Tracy Allen Giles & Malissa Lambert Giles

Attorneys at Law

 

Tracy and Malissa have a combined 32 years of experience successfully filing bankruptcies.  Their expertise has led them to teach at numerous bankruptcy and consumer seminars, including seminars held by the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, the Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Bankruptcy Institute. Tracy and Malissa have lived here in Roanoke for over 15 years.  They've seen the area grow and change, and they've raised their family here.  In addition to serving their clients, Tracy and Malissa believe in giving back to their local community. Tracy serves on Board of Apple Ridge Farm, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide outdoor experiences and academic programs for inner city and at-risk youth. He also serves on the Board of Blue Ridge Legal Services. Malissa has served on the Board of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra.

Kimberly Kristine Bandy

Attorney at Law

Kimberly Bandy graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006. Since that time she has practiced primarily in the area of bankruptcy law in Roanoke Virginia. Kimberly joined the firm in 2008. She works with clients from initial intake, through the signing process and finally to court.

Kristina Hollowell

Bankruptcy Paralegal

Kristina's primary duties involve handing the Danville Chapter 7 and 13 cases and assisting the other paralegals.  She is responsible for Motions for Relief in all Chapter 13 cases (Roanoke and Danville). She can handle a case from initial primary duties involving review of client intake forms, preparation of the petition and review of the petition with clients to making sure the cases are ready for court hearings.  Kristina joined the firm in March 2009.

Jessica McGrath

Chapter 7 Paralegal

Jessica joined the office in 2008, first in the receptionist position and then as the Chapter 7 paralegal.  She is responsible for almost all aspects of Chapter 7 filings. She handles the cases from initial primary duties involving review of client intake forms, preparation of the petitions and review of the petitions with clients to making sure the cases are ready for court hearings.

Megan Showalter

Office Manager

Megan has worked at Giles & Lambert, PC, since December 2003, after receiving her paralegal degree in June 2003 from Virginia Western Community College. Megan is the Chapter 13 paralegal and is responsible for nearly all aspects of Chapter 13 filings. She handles the cases from initial primary duties involving review of client intake forms, preparation of the petition and review of the petition with clients to making sure the cases are ready for court hearings.

Megan also is the office manager and oversees the general operations of both the Roanoke and Martinsville offices.

Martinsville Office

Michelle Brown

Bankruptcy Paralegal

Michelle joined the office in 2009, being the first full-time paralegal in the Martinsville office, which is open app. five hours daily.   She is available to handle retains on a daily basis and assist clients with ongoing review of paperwork or documents and coordinate with the Roanoke staff to handle all matters related to Danville cases.
