Giles & Lambert, P.C., employs a number of full-time and part-time employees who assist us in handling your legal financial matters in a professional, confidential and timely manner.  List below are the full-time staff members who work with clients on a daily basis. 

Jodi Chrismond, Bankruptcy Paralegal

Jodi's primary duties involve handing the Danville Chapter 7 and 13 cases and assisting the other paralegals.  She is responsible for Motions for Relief in all Chapter 13 cases (Roanoke and Danville). She can handle a case from initial primary duties involving review of client intake forms, preparation of the petition and review of the petition with clients to making sure the cases are ready for court hearings.

Elizabeth Lacks, Client Relationship Specialist, Legal Secretary

Elizabeth's primary duties involve handing the traffic flow of the office, including the phones, assisting the paralegals with paperwork, and communicating with clients and trustees among other duties.  She is excellent at being able to answer client questions or get an answer for a client in an efficient, timely manner and her bookkeeping background helps her really understand the client's financial situation.

Linda Lambert, Client Specialist/Paralegal

Linda has worked at Giles & Lambert, PC since July 2003. She formerly was corporate trainer for Skytel of MCI. She has recently moved to working part-time as she is pursuing her degree from Hollins University. Her primary duties include post-confirmation Chapter 13 clients, review of client intake forms, and general office management.

Jessica McGrath, Chapter 7 Paralegal

Jessica joined the office in 2008, first in the receptionist position and then as the Chapter 7 paralegal.  She is responsible for almost all aspects of Chapter 7 filings. She handles the cases from initial primary duties involving review of client intake forms, preparation of the petitions and review of the petitions with clients to making sure the cases are ready for court hearings.

Megan Showalter, Chapter 13 Paralegal and Office Manager

Megan has worked at Giles & Lambert, PC, since December 2003, after receiving her paralegal degree in June 2003 from Virginia Western Community College. Megan is the Chapter 13 paraglegal and is responsible for almost all aspects of Chapter 13 filings. She handles the cases from initial primary duties involving review of client intake forms, preparation of the petition and review of the petition with clients to making sure the cases are ready for court hearings.

Megan also is the office manager and oversees the general operations of both the Roanoke and Martinsville offices.
