Malissa Lambert Giles has been recognized as a Virginia "Super Lawyer" and a member of Virginia Business Magazine's "Legal Elite" for her professional achievements in Consumer Bankruptcy Law.  Malissa is a frequent author and speaker for the Mid-Atlantic Institution on Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice, and she has taught at numerous bankruptcy and consumer seminars, including the Virginia Continuing Legal Education seminar "Back to Nuts and Bolts: The Best Practices Guide for New or Returning Bankruptcy Attorneys," and the online seminar "Recent Developments in Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice."  She has also taught at the annual statewide Legal Aid Conference, the Virginia Bar Association's Bankruptcy Law Seminar, the National Business Institute's Bankruptcy Seminar, and several Virginia State Bar seminars, including: "Breaking the Code:  Bankruptcy Reform Legislation," "Basic Bankruptcy," and "First Day in Practice."  She has served as editor of the Virginia State Bar Bankruptcy Section's quarterly publication, Bankruptcy Law News, and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of the Virginia State Bar's Bankruptcy Section.
